OfficeConnect for Teams is a clientless and server-side connector for Genesys Engage. It is for enterprises who have a Microsoft Teams environment and who are looking for a flexible and easy way to add their Genesys Customer Interaction handling to their preferred Corporate Communications platform.
User sessions and agent presence within Microsoft Teams are seemlessly monitored. Logging in or out, changing agent states are automatically synchronized towards Genesys. All rich and advanced Genesys interaction features become available in Microsoft Teams and the data-exchange is secured using SSO and HTTPS/WS connections.
All you have to do is install the OfficeConnect for Teams connector on your server, perform some basic configurations and you are set to go. Labour intensive client installations are not required.
